After spending over five years in the healthcare consulting industry and earning a Master’s degree in Pharmacy, life took an unexpected turn — I was laid off. It was a heartbreaking moment. I had invested 18 years in education and over half a decade building my career, only to be left with uncertainty and doubt.
But sometimes, the greatest setbacks lead to the most powerful transformations.
With no family business background, a home loan, a recent marriage, and responsibilities toward my parents — giving up wasn’t an option. So I made a choice: if I was going to work hard, I would work for myself. That decision marked the beginning of a brand-new journey.
Through a chance conversation with a friend’s friend, I was introduced to the world of CNC laser cutting and metal fabrication. I had never even stepped into a factory before, but something about the concept intrigued me. With support from my wife and family, I gathered funds from near and dear ones and purchased my first set of machines.
I started by manufacturing products for other businesses — hotelware, sanitary goods, and more. But something was missing. The traditional B2B manufacturing model didn’t excite me. The heavy labor dependency and harsh working conditions were worlds apart from the corporate environment I once knew. Still, I pushed forward and kept learning.
One day, while browsing decor ideas online, I felt a spark. What if I used my machines to create beautiful yet functional home decor? Pieces that bring joy, serve a purpose, and reflect both design and utility?
That’s when the seed of Meet Decor was planted.
I tried B2B again — approaching businesses with my new decor products — but failed to gain traction. Disappointed and ready to quit, my wife encouraged me once more, reminding me why I had started.
I pivoted to D2C (Direct to Consumer). I asked myself: What can I create that an everyday person would love, yet also appeal to someone in a high-end office?
That’s how Meet Decor was born — a brand that blends aesthetic design with everyday utility.
From manufacturing to packaging, content creation to customer support — I had zero experience. But I learned, day by day, mistake by mistake. Today, I personally ensure product quality and even speak directly with customers whenever needed.
At Meet Decor, we create functional, high-quality, and elegant metal decor pieces made in-house using advanced CNC machines. Every product is crafted with the modern Indian household in mind — beautiful to look at, practical to use.
Whether it’s a key holder, wall art, or a multipurpose organizer, we want our creations to feel like they were made just for you.
Meet Decor isn’t just a brand — it’s my personal journey of resilience, learning, and creativity. We are proudly made in India, and we’re here to help you turn your house into a home — one thoughtful product at a time.
Thank you for supporting a small business with a big dream.
